SYNOPSIS

His real name Christian Maudet, is born on 9/4/1904. In 1914 when the war is starting, he is studying « arts décoratifs » in the Beaux Arts. He is friend with Jacques Chabraison, together there create posters for the branch of First National. Their signature is Christian Jaque. He adopts this pseudonym when he starts his carrer as cinematographer. During his carrer, he made over 100 films including : Fanfan la Tulipe, Babette s’en va en guerre, Mme du Barry…
