SYNOPSIS
In the XVIIth century in a small village, Corentin (Roland Giraud), a rich butcher, married the beautiful Clemence (Muriel Brener), but his marriage is not consumed because of a storm that made him impotent. His mother-in-law (Andréa Ferréol) takes advantage of the situation to cancel the marriage, and recover all the fortune of Corentin, because by law after investigation of judges, the impotent will loose his fortune in favor of his wife. Corentin will fight to prove that he is not impotent….
