SYNOPSIS
Jacques Christens gets a strange proposition one night. After the vanishing of a woman’s husband, Jacques is asked to become the man’s replacement. If he accepts, Jacques stands to inherit a fortune from the woman’s uncle who is near the point of death.
Immediately, he would receive one million in cash and nine million upon the uncle’s death.
Jacques refuses… But then reconsiders.
