SYNOPSIS
Born in 1946 in Paris, Gérard Garouste, painter and sculptor, lives and works between Paris and Normandy. His work is nourished by a reflection on the mythical figures that cross art and Western literature, from the character of Orion to The Divine Comedy or Don Quixote; his pictorial work, which begins in the imagination, is part of a tradition that the artist says classic and invites us to decipher references and influences.
