SYNOPSIS
Julian is a pickpocket whose business becomes less and less lucrative. His wife Charlotte has enough of her husband’s mediocrity and leaves him. Julian then decides to get himself arrested and sent to prison.
He visits an important jewelry store on the Rue de la Paix and, undisturbed, quietly pockets a million dollars worth of diamonds. He then exits into a taxi without being stopped or questioned.
He later realizes he does not know what to do with such valuable jewels but Stef, the taxi driver, gives him an address of a « fence » and becomes his new associate.
